SVM Racing consists of a small group of quad racing enthusiasts from the gulf coast region of Texas. The original abbreviation "SVM" stood for "Sosniak Van Matre" Racing, a race team that Andy Sosniak and TJ Van Matre started while racing radio controlled offroad cars. It was Andy and TJ that brought the idea to Robert Minieri in early 2007 to start a quad racing team, where it was decided that SVM Racing would be the name of a select group of quad racers who all share a close friendship and a passion for motocross racing 4-wheelers.
2007 proved to be a great inaugural year for SVM Racing! The SVM Racing Team is:

All of the SVM Racing Team currently rides, races
and participates with the Gulf Coast Quad Racing Association (GCQRA).

Some members of SVM Racing have made our name known on a national level by competing in WPSA (World PowerSports Association) events. With the 2008 racing season just over the horizon, a few SVM Racing members have their sights set on representing our team on a nationally recognized track.
Sportsmanship is among top priority for any and all riders of SVM Racing. It is a balance of competition, manners, good sportsmanship and the willingness to lend a helping hand that lands someone the opportunity to race on the SVM Racing Team.
And speaking of lending a helping hand, our racing days are made much easier thanks to our wonderful sponsors. Please check out what they have to offer. Most of them offer services for many types of people and many different needs, so even if you don't race quads, or race anything for that matter, they would be happy to help you in whatever project you are taking on. So feel free to click on them to see if they can help you out. Don't forget to tell them that SVM Racing sent you!
